About Our Group Fitness Classes.

We’re not just another group fitness gym. Our group fitness classes near Burlington consist of 45 minutes of structured functional strength and conditioning training. Every day is a different workout and focuses on different body parts, so you’ll never get burnt out on the same routine. Learn more about our different classes below.

Upper Body

Upper Body Days are vital when it comes to functional strength. A strong upper body helps prevent injury and promotes more efficient movement. The pace is slowed down to really maximize effort and strength.


Lower Body

Lower Body Days are a staple during the week. Prioritizing lower-body training builds a solid foundation that supports better performance everywhere else in the gym. Like Upper Body Days, the pace is slowed down to maximize effort and strength.


MetCon

With our MetCon workouts, you can expect fast-paced HIIT workouts using weights and equipment that are meant to build strength, endurance, and stamina.


Cardio

Expect to burn a lot of calories during our Cardio Days. We focus on toes-on-the-ground cardio with a sprinkle of burpees from time to time.

Core

We can’t forget about core! A strong core improves performance in both upper and lower body training and is the foundation of nearly every movement.


Hell Week

Every 7th week of our 9-week cycle is Hell Week at Empower FitLab. Hell Week is designed to test your strength, stamina, and will to live. The workouts are turned up a notch, and every workout is a surprise.

PR Week

Following Hell Week is PR Week at Empower FitLab. Put your progress to the test to see if you can set PRs for specific exercises. Each cycle, we’ll focus on three exercises to improve upon.

Deload Week

Deload Week allows our members to reset and refocus before our 9-week cycle begins again. This week is more focused on recovery, so expect lighter weights and higher reps.
